Parade of Lights – December 7th, 2019
‘Tis the season to get a little festive! Take a quick drive into Philly and experience one of the most magical events of the year—you won’t want to miss the famous Parade of Lights.
Wondering what all the commotion is about? CBS 3 anchor Jan Carabeo will host thousands of excited locals at the Independence Seaport Museum for this year’s festivities. Main Line natives always look forward to seeing the dazzling light displays and visiting Santa’s Workshop on the Water. Be sure to decorate a gingerbread boat, too!
Full Moon Night Hike and S’mores – December 12th, 2019
Head to Saunders Woods Preserve in Gladwyne to experience a nighttime trek unlike any other. You’ll be able to take a hike beneath the full moon with one of the Preserve’s knowledgable staff members, who will show you all of the park’s natural wonders.
Don’t worry—there’s a sweet ending to this exciting walk. You can warm up by the fire and roast marshmallows when it’s all over, all while taking in the Preserve’s rustic barn.
Motown for Kids Holiday Celebration – December 22nd, 2019
Looking for an exciting concert that you and your kids will love? Dance on over to the Motown for Kids Holiday Celebration in Ardmore. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce the younger ones to musical greats, so bring on the Gladys, Diana, and Stevie!
Want to know what to expect? Doors open at 11 for the 11:45 AM show, and tickets are only $15. The Rock and Roll Playhouse always puts on a great performance, and you can catch them during their weekly jam sessions at the Ardmore Music Hall all year long.
HiJinx Festival – December 27th, 2019
Get ready to party—the HiJinx Festival is coming back to Philly, and this year, it’s better than ever. Come dance with famous faces like Skrillex and Zeds Dead, as well as even more up-and-coming artists.
